Why You Should Value Your Software Like A Gourmet Meal
Do you remember the last great meal you ate? I mean one of those mouth-watering and succulent, you-can't-stop-gushing-over-no-matter-how-hard-you-try kind of great meals. One of those truly unforgettable meals that delights all of your senses.
Think about the service, the atmosphere and the people that all contributed to the experience.
Now think about the price. In most cases, a meal like that ain't cheap. But the food was so good, price didn't matter. Well, that's exactly how you should feel when buying software.
The other day, my family and I piled into a car for a 3 and a half hour drive (each way!) for one of the best ice cream experiences Western Canada has to offer. And it occurred to me, that when it comes to ice cream, I'm not shopping around for the best price and I'm certainly not settling for the cheap stuff from the supermarket. Why should software be any different?
When it comes to software, you get what you pay for. Instead of trying to cut costs from the start, look for software that can save you money and time in the long run. Take your time to look at what each solution offers and if it meets your business requirements and then some. Focus on the goals you're trying to achieve and consider business changes and future challenges you might face and how having the right software will help. Instead of buying what will only satisfy today's needs, strategize and prioritize your goals and what it will take to achieve them.
Consider the challenges and additional costs of migrating all of your data to a new system or paying someone to fix the issues that could arise if you pick incorrectly. Is that worth saving a few dollars now?
@Assist's goal is to challenge industry standards and help professionals get more value from their software. If you're like the majority of businesses today, your business relies heavily on software doing what it's supposed to do, when it's supposed to do it. Would you bet the entire well-being of your business on something you picked up on the cheap? Or would you rather have something that's quality, makes your business look boss and comes with support that could almost literally knock your socks off?
With @Assist, you're in excellent hands so you can let your tootsies fly free. See what we did there?
